Installation

New carpet, laid the way it should have been the first time.

Whole home or one bedroom. We measure, quote and install with the same crew — old carpet and pad out, new pad and carpet in, seams placed where you won’t see them, and everything hauled away.

Measured & quoted in person

Whole home or one room

Every install starts with a measurement, not a guess. We plan the layout so seams land in low-traffic spots and the pile runs the same direction room to room, and we quote the whole job — carpet, pad, labor, removal and haul-away — before anything is ordered.

One bedroom, a basement, or every floor: the process is the same, only the schedule changes.

What we install

  • Single rooms and basements
  • Whole-home replacement, floor by floor so you’re never out of the house
  • Matching new carpet to existing rooms where the old carpet stays
Included in every install

Carpet & pad replacement

Pad is the part nobody sees and everybody feels. Old pad crushes flat, holds pet odor, and lets the new carpet wear faster. We replace it with new pad every time — you shouldn’t put new carpet over a pad that’s already done.

We also check the subfloor and tack strip while the floor is bare and replace what’s rusted, loose or missing, so the new carpet stretches tight and stays tight.

What’s included

  • Old carpet and pad removed and hauled away
  • New pad matched to the carpet and the room’s traffic
  • Subfloor checked, tack strip replaced where needed
The place most installs go wrong

Stairs

Stairs are the hardest part of any carpet job and the first place a rushed install shows. Each step has to be cut, stretched and tucked tight to the nosing, or it will loosen and wear early.

We install stairs waterfall-style (carpet flowing over each nosing) or wrapped (fitted tight around each edge), whichever suits the carpet and the house, and we tuck every riser so there’s nothing to catch a toe on.

Stair work we do

  • Straight runs, landings and pie-shaped winders
  • Open-sided stairs with wrapped edges
  • Replacing stair carpet only, leaving the rest of the house alone
For landlords and property managers

Rentals & turnovers

Between tenants, speed matters. We schedule turnovers tight, install durable carpet that stands up to the next lease, and get the unit back on the market without a week of waiting.

If you manage more than one property, tell us — we’ll keep your carpet choices on file so every turnover matches and quotes go faster.

For property owners

  • Fast scheduling between move-out and move-in
  • Durable, budget-sensible carpet and pad for rentals
  • Same-day removal and haul-away
  • One point of contact for multiple units

Install day

What to expect.

01

We measure and quote

A visit to measure the rooms, look at the stairs and subfloor, and give you one written quote for the whole job.

02

Carpet is ordered

Once you’ve chosen the carpet, we order it and set an install date around your schedule.

03

Out with the old, in with the new

Old carpet and pad out, subfloor checked, new pad and carpet in, edges tucked, everything hauled away. Most single rooms are done the same day.

Not sure you need new carpet? Worn traffic lanes and crushed pad usually do mean replacement — but ripples, pet damage and bad seams usually don’t. Send a photo and we’ll tell you which it is before you spend anything. See what we repair →
