Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect what we need to give you an estimate and do the work, we use standard website analytics, and we never sell your information.
What you give us
When you request an estimate, call, or text us, we keep your name, phone number, email, address or ZIP, the photos and details you send, and notes about your job. We use them to quote, schedule, complete and invoice the work, and to follow up about that work (for example a reminder about an open quote or a request for a review). You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing sales@atlantacarpetpro.com.
Calls and texts
Calls to the numbers on this site may be routed through a call-tracking service so we can answer from a mobile phone and see which pages bring in calls. Calls may be recorded for quality and record-keeping; you will hear a notice if a call is being recorded. We only text you about your own request or job (estimate replies, a follow-up if we missed your call, appointment updates); we never send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts from us and HELP for help. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Our Terms & Conditions include the full SMS terms.
Website analytics
Like most websites we record how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how long they are viewed, how far they are scrolled, which buttons and links are clicked, the type of device and browser, the page that linked here, and any advertising codes in the link you arrived on (for example a Google Ads click ID). This is stored with a random visitor identifier saved in your browser. We also record the approximate location of your connection (city and region, as estimated by our hosting provider) and, for visits from an advertisement, the location the advertising platform associated with the click. We do not store your IP address; a one-way scrambled version is kept so repeat visits from the same network can be recognised. If you later contact us, the visit is linked to your request so we know what you were looking for.
We also use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, which set their own cookies and are governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out of Google’s ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, and block analytics cookies in your browser settings.
Who sees it
Only Atlanta Carpet Pros and the services we use to run the business: our website host, database, phone/text provider, email provider, and Google for advertising measurement. Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for other companies’ marketing.
How long we keep it
Customer and job records are kept for as long as we are in business so we can honour our work and serve you again. Website visit data is kept for up to two years.
